Service
ASI offers an optional Inventory Counting
service. The purpose is to get you using
your computer system as quickly and
efficiently as possible. When you decide
to computerize your business, an initial
investment of time is spent entering
data. Although the Inventory Counting
service is not mandatory, your time
is better spent learning how to use
your computer system, managing your
business and taking care of your customers.
This optional service may be implemented
with in the first few weeks or you may
choose to contract for this service
several times with in the life span
of your system. Keep in mind, if your
computer system is new to you, inventory
does not have to be counted in order
for you to start scanning. But eventually,
you have to count your inventory in
order to take advantage of the things
a perpetual inventory system for a period
of time, physical inventory counting
is a routine, on-going task.
How
the Service Works
ASI will provide one person to assist
and manage the physical counting of
the inventory in your store. ASI will
provide the required number of hand-held
inventory scanning units to count the
inventory quickly and efficiently. The
ASI representative will coordinate your
staff and oversee the project. Your
employees will perform the actual counting.
The counts will be transferred into
your inventory database. Your employees
will review/ proof-read the counts prior
to updating. Adjustments will be made
if necessary prior to updating the counts.
