The SALES HISTORY tab displays item history
in various formats. Our example shows sales history
dating back to 1997 in a yearly summary for a
chain of six stores. Notice you can SHOW the history
daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. And if you are
using Spirits 2000 multi-store polling,
you can combine sales history for all locations
or look at individual store history as in our
example.

CUSTOMER sales
history is especially important for retailers
who are trying to target mailings and promotions
to specific groups of customers. You can set up
a courtesy card/club card system and use customer
sales history to keep those customers coming back
to your store. As an example, you can print a
report showing all customers who have purchased
a $25 bottle of wine or better in the last 3 months.
You may consider this group of customers part
of your wine club and offer them special promotions.

| Use the BEVERAGE JOURNAL
tab if your store is in NJ, NY or CT and you subscribe
to ASI's monthly pricing service. Remember, the
purchase order program will select the best deal
for the quantity you need to order. Since you
always have two month's worth of data loaded,
the Suggested Purchase Order report can even tell
you which month has the better deal! Certainly
a time saver!
