MTD UNITS tell you how many bottles you sold during a prior period of time. That time frame is selected by you and does not necessarily have to be a month. In our example, we sold 17 bottles during the month of October. Look below the sample grid. The date range is displayed.

As you move across the grid, more information is displayed.

MTD DOLLARS tells us the 17 bottles sold for $196.18.

MTD PROFIT tells us the dollar profit you made on those 17 bottles.

YTD UNITS, YTD DOLLARS, YTD PROFIT tells us the same information for a different period of time. Just like MTD, the YTD columns do not have to reflect an entire year. It's any date range you want to look at. We will explain MTD and YTD information in more detail in a few moments. For now, just realize that the purchase order program to help you decide what you need to order uses this information.
