The UPC button displays not only manufacturer's
UPC codes, it also contains VID numbers.
The VID number is the vendor's SKU number
for the item. It is a handy way to look up items
especially when you are in the purchase order
screen. Very often, you have an invoice in front
of you which has the VID number on it. Just enter
that number and find the item!
The PRICE button displays the various price
levels you have assigned to the item along with
other pertinent information such as cost, profit,
whether or not the item is on sale (SL=T/F).
