Sell 2019,
10098. TOTAL THE SALE. You have the
ability to suspend or put sales on hold.
A cashier may be at AMOUNT TENDERED
when the customer decides he wants to walk
around the store and look at other items.
Or perhaps the customer left his wallet
in the car. You don't have to void the sale
and reenter it when the customer comes back
to the register. And if that customer never
comes back, you don't have to do anything
to eliminate that sale. It was never a sale
to begin with so inventory was never deducted.
HIT RECALL. And you have the added
security of knowing that function can be
passworded so that a manager has to give
the cashier permission to put a sale on
hold. The receipt is marked as VOIDED
and the sale is held off as a proposal which
means it is not a completed sale. You can
take the next customer and keep the line
moving. SCAN SEAGRAMS GIN AND COMPLETE
THE SALE. Now hit RECALL to find the
suspended sale and complete it.
Create customer orders if you do deliveries,
prepare party orders or the customer orders
early in the week and wants to pick up his
order on the weekend. Hit CUSTOMER INQ,
enter MCC, select John McCarthy. Hit BROWSE
to select ABS, TANQ. Total. Hit ORDER key.
You can enter a SHIP TO address if it's
different from the customer placing the
order. You can accept deposits towards order.
Enter $10 deposit. This may be a
$3,000 order for a wedding. You won't release
the merchandise until the order is paid
in full. The customer gives you $500 deposit.
You attach the deposit to the order. The
customer gives you a $700 deposit next week.
You call up the order, attach the deposit
to the order. When the order is paid in
full, the order is invoiced, inventory is
deducted. Now it's a sale.
Messages can be attached to a customer order
several different ways:
1. Notice the MESSAGE box on the
order screen. Enter a unique message attached
to this order.
2. A unique message can be attached to the
customer's account so that message automatically
prints every time you do an order for that
customer. For example, directions to his
house.
3. You may want the same message attached
to a group of customers so they always have
that message printed on their orders. You
can create a global message and attach it
to several customers. |
