  SPIRITS 2000

Let's do a few examples.

Sell a bottle and case of 2180 and 2176 to the cash customer.

This is an example of a retail customer purchasing a single bottle and case of two different items. The items are sold at the regular retail price.

Sell the same items to the wholesale customer-BBATE.

This is an example of a wholesale customer purchasing the same items. Notice the differences in the bottle and case price. The wholesale customer pays less than the retail customer. Also notice the screen differences. The Promo column is marked WS. This stands for wholesale customer. Sales will be recorded in the item history file separately for wholesale customers. You can print sales history reports showing you how much you sold to retail customers vs. wholesale customers. It also separates sales on the Cash and Sales Summary Report. This is the daily register report that you will use every day to balance your cashiers/registers.

State law also requires the retailer to affix tax stamps to each bottle sold to wholesale customers. The retailer must keep a record of where each tax stamp was used. The register allows you to assign and record tax stamps to each wholesale order.

The system now knows that this wholesale order is using tax stamps 35 through 54.
